Ah, the Australian Green-headed Ant/Metallic Pony Ant, more commonly called simply the green ant.

They are nasty little buggers, their venom from their bites causes swelling and a sharp burning sensation that can last from 5 minutes up to 2 - 6 hours. I've been bitten by many of them in the past 36 years.

Oh good, thank you :) I'm always horribly paranoid when people give me artistic freedom. I never know whether they are asking me to do what I like, or they want me to figure out what they like xD

Should have told me! Haha! I'd have given you something a little better to work with then. But yeah, in my case, when I give out artistic freedom, I basically let the artist do whatever they want/like and I buy the resulting character basically. Yes, it is a situation I could eventually lose, but right now, every shot in the dark I've taken have been successful. I am not sure how I'll be able to use these ants in a roleplay, but the picture is way awesome so in all cases, it will be hung on my walls. I've never played a ant character... I don't even know if they'll be popular... I'll see! Fun times.

Play up the fact that they're shiny, furries will eat it up.
