So I noticed a while ago that Wing Knight, one of the protagonists from Kamen Rider Dragon Knight/KR Ryuki resembles Batman quite a lot-hell, he's even bat themed, he has a cape, and his beast companion is a gigantic mechanical bat.
Who do you think would win in this fight? I might be a bit biased, buuuut I'd say Batman wins, hands down. Hell, he dared to stand up to a fucking GOD. And killed said god.
Batman belongs to DC.
Wing Knight belongs to Toei.

Those two words that you are using:
I feel you do not know what they truly mean.
Batman is more along the lines of a Crazy prepared Hero. Also, he HAS to have a gadget for every situation because HE HAS NO POWERS. In a universe where Super Powers are RAMPANT, he's just a normal man who uses gadgetry and his brain to fight Crime.
Also, the Terms Gary Stu and Mary Sue have been thrown around so much that they've lost all meaning. Usually it boils down to "I don't like this character, that means they're a Sue." Not that I am saying YOU think that, but come on.
Also, I don't recall every hero liking him, or every hero wanting to be him. So deliver proof on that, if you would be so kind.

What dude above me said.
When you're living in a world where your colleagues are super-powered humans, you need to get well prepared not only to keep up with them, but to put a stop to them in case they go rogue. Bruce originally went around the world to hone his skills not because he wanted to join these super-heroes, but because he wanted to avenge his parents and fight crime whenever, whereever possible. It just happened that he became involved in the group of superheroes because of said skills-being at peak of human strength, possibly breaking some world records in feats he is capable of pulling off, ability to observe someone and come to precise conclusions about them from interaction (he basically reads people like open books), crime-investigating skills that put professional investigators and detectives to shame, and ability to come up with gadgets necessary for EVERY situation. That's, as Macatack pointed out, being crazy prepared.
As for being liked by every superhero? LOL nope. Superman is the closest thing to a friend he has, even with all the misunderstandings between them. Everyone else either just has varying degrees of respect for him or has some issues with his anti-social, gruff behavior.

I don't dislike batman but I do agree his background is rather ridiculous. I mean, he overcame the trauma of lost parents, high-degree martial arts, acrobatics, a lot on several fields of science, criminal investigation and forensics, developed tehcnology unnatainable by anyone else, became a billionaire and is still young enough to kick ass at the end of all that. Kinda hard to buy that a human person can do that
(I do hate his *CENSORED PROFANITIES* sidekick tho)

Bruce Wayne. As in, Batman.
Why?
Because he is the strongest character in the DC Universe and got that way through sheer willpower.
His sidekicks go on to be leaders of their own teams, whether it be the Teen Titans or Young Justice.
His only real competition is Dick Grayson, who he raised and trained.
Unless, you know, Beast Boy decided to stop being ashamed of himself.

I'm kind of pissed that in the newer comics Bruce is portrayed as a callous sociopathic jerk with little redeeming points who mistreats his sidekicks (says a lot when Damian, his own SON, prefers Grayson's company over his), instead of being a somewhat antisocial superdetective we knew him to be, who despite all his flaws was always there for others. Hell, Frank Miller portrayed him as a sociopath as well but he had made it so it actually WORKED. He still fought for what's right, even if he was a bit knocked on the head.
"What the hell is your problem? Are you retarded or something? I'm the goddamn Batman."

Bruce may be the cold, brooding, and a dick, but in reality he cares more for his fellow man than any other character in the DC Universe, with few others to compare, and most of those that care almost as much as he does are his own sidekicks who have trained with him, and seen both sides of Bruce. The one that is stern, logical, and almost god-like in intelligence and combat prowess, and the side that while he has dealt with hardships, can still go out into the world and still care about people instead of shutting himself off from society. The thing with Grayson is, Grayson was there during a period where Damian was learning how to care for another, and Grayson was kind of like a father-figure or an older brother. Bruce has never really had to deal with a kid that was genuinely his own flesh and blood, so it's kind of awkward for him because while he wants to impose the standards he imposes on others onto his son too, he knows his son is, well... A violent little boy. Or maybe he feels awkward around his son because Bruce was raped by Talia, and Damian was the result.
I haven't been reading as much as I'd like to, but if Batman's now being portrayed as some sociopathic jerk, you must mean Bat-cop or Bruce himself. I like Bruce the way he was, he could have finished his fights with death or a gun, but he uses his brain, body, and will to overcome any obstacle. Maybe they want Bruce to go insane, I don't know. But that doesn't sound like Bruce to me. That's also bad writing, because you're pretty much throwing away a character. What has become of you, Bruce?

Horrible joke about Midnighter goes here.
Well, he IS a spoof of Bats after all, only with much more Warren Ellis painted all over him. I mean, he's a gay metahuman killing machine with an extra heart who literally knows your every move before you make it. This makes him Taskmaster on meth, as Tasky is still human even IF he beat the likes of Cap.
Of course, this means that Deadpool could probably slap Midnighter around due to his whole insanity/reactive healing factor nonsense.

Wing Knight would get his ass stomped. The american take on the show kind of amped up some parts but toned down others.
Knight, as in the original from Japan... would still have trouble and get his ass kicked, likely. But at least there'd be more of a fight.
Batman'd win. Because he's the Goddamn Batman.

Darkseid. Mortally wounded him with the same bullet that killed Darkseid's son, Orion. At the same moment, Darkseid shot him with his Omega Sanction beams, which sent Batman into a future, with terrible consequences that should occur once Batman arrives to said future. However, due to interference of some other superheroes, Batman was safely returned to the present, making him the second person (alongside Mister Miracle) to escape Darkseid's Omega Sanction.
He truly can do anything with prep time.
As much as I love batman. (he's my favorite of all DCs) I might find myself rooting for Dark Wing.
Not because he's an underdog or anything. It's stupider than that :P It's just that I've been on a total KR (tokus in general, actually) kick over the last year. So I'm just being a total fanboy. I meant to start out in KR with Ryuki, cuz the whole Knightly thing called to me, but I ended up going for the modular powers of Fourze and Double (I'm starting OOO as soon as I finish W)
