I know I just posted some pony art yesterday, but today was PonyIsland's birthday and they released a new s-gene or special trait that inspired me. I made two ponies that were desperately begging to have a little piece of art done for them.

The new s-gene that was released was called Zebra Finch and it added black and white markings onto a pony's body that mimicked that of a zebra finch. It's a gene made just for pegasus ponies, however it can eventually be bred into the other breeds on PonyIsland.

Funny enough I made Twitter first and wanted a dark cyan with brown and black for her, but I got a colorized inverse Zebra Finch instead. Which I'm so not complaining about lol! So once I saw I had an inverse colorized, I had to make a twin with normal Zebra Finch. ^^

So there they are in their twin-y goodness! :D Okay so they're not exactly twins, but they could be! XD Twitter and Flitter's markings are inverse of their each other, but their body and hair colors are the same. Their eyes are also different colors.

Twitter is standing and is the sassy one. Flitter is lying down and is the sweet one. Hehe I love these two so very much XD I will probably have to get over my frustrations with drawing wings so these two can get more fan art from me in the future.
