Back in the first year, 1999, of Sabrina Online: The Story I was introduced by a Canadian fan to a new webcomic called Freefall. I wasn't going to read it, I had enough to read and things to do, but I went ahead and started at the beginning, and devoured it as fast as it was being posted!
I'd had some email chats with Mark Stanley, the creator and artist. And I got his permission to borrow his character Florence Ambrose, who makes a comic relief appearance at Chris Foxx's back door looking for a part for the ship.
To thank me, he returned the favor and included Chris Foxx and Sabrina from The Story in his Halloween Crossover Comic he did that year. 2 panels featured numerous characters from other webcomics on a beach, and here you spy us walking by the water
This was the very first public appearance of Chris Foxx outside of The Story.
The comic is no longer linked, but it is still on the Purrsia server. Which is how, by sheer luck, I was able to download the page and snag this crop from it. Sharp-eyed viewers should be able to recognize the two kids playing in the sand in the foreground.
