These were made in my ceramics class in 2009. There are 10 deer altogether, 9 made using a mold of the basic body shape, while the ears and each face was made individually. I also drilled two holes into each deer to give them antlers. They are great for incense! I gave out most of them as presents and kept a few for myself and my family. The design was inspired by the game The Endless Forest, which I suggest you check out. It's wonderful.
These pieces, along with my other sculptures helped me win the Excellence in Ceramics award that year.
