Beaches in Pi's world are hard to find? When I saw this image I was reminded of a passage from and old Disney movie titled "Chico, the wayward Coyote." In the film, the coyote had to cross the Los Angeles river which wound it's way through the heart of the Metropolis. "That's three hundred feet of concrete..." the narrator intoned, "...But only sixteen inches of river."
