I'm sure the cider sold in the episode was non-alcoholic (otherwise Apple Bloom couldn't have been serving it!)
...but they named a pony Applejack, and nicknamed her Appletini in another episode, don't tell me Sweet Apple Acres doesn't have SOME happy hours. Don't worry, they card everypony first. ;)
This is the first anthropomorphic pony I've finished that I'm pleased with. Not too much like a "real horse," not too "dinner-plate-eyed bubble-headed marshmallow-leggy thing" either (I like the official art style, I just think it doesn't work well for anthropomorphic versions, at least not when I draw them).

Yeah, I like this style of pony. Like you, I like the show's style, but it doesn't work with anthro ponies. It's just weird lookin'.
