A soft chewy beautiful brownie with your favourite hot beverage for morning tea or any time of the day sounds just right to me. These delights are from the kitchens of
stripekazama
First time ever I made brownies :). Decided to add my own twist, and add pieces of Daim chocolate into it. (American equivalent would be a Skor bar)
Ingredients:
100 grams Butter
100 grams 70% Dark Chocolate
2 Eggs
2 decilitres sugar (just over 3/4 cup)
1.5 decilitre flour (about 2/3 cup)
1 tsp Baking powder
How to:
1. Turn the oven to 175 Celsius degrees.
2. Melt butter and chocolate together in a pot on low heat. Once melted, turn off the heat.
3. Add the baking powder, flour, eggs and sugar to the melted chocolate and butter.
4. Mix the ingredients together into a nice batter.
5. Crush Daim into pieces and then add to the batter, stir it around so the Daim spreads in the batter.
6. Pour the mixture out into a baking paper-covered oven proof tin.
7. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes
Decilitre to cups conversion is approximate only
