Argh. Dieses Bild liegt jetzt seit Tagen bei mir bei den neuen Werken. Ich wollte immer wieder etwas Schreiben, aber so ganz fassen konnte ich es noch nicht.
Ich ärgere mich eigentlich immer, wenn ich nicht mehr sagen kann als "Toll, genial, detailreich" (auch wenn es den Nagel auf den Kopf trifft), aber die Tatsache, dass ein flauschig aussehendes Hermelin das Bild bestimmt, spricht schon für sich (awwww...).
Und diese tieeefen Augen… Ich kann nicht sagen, woran es liegt, denn eigentlich sind die Augen ja "nur" schwarz und punktuell reflektierend, aber sie ziehen mich förmlich ins Bild.
Kurz und gut - beeindruckend.

Aww. I'm really impressded that you took the time to write something under my works, especially as one of my favourite artists. I'm really surprised that you liked my celshading skills. My own impression was always that I really suck at it (and I don't feel very comfortable with it, so I decided to go back to realism again D:).
Concerning the oil paint filter: yeah, I experimented with it in the last weeks a bit, but it's not bad to hear that you like it without better. Concerning this picture I used it to make it smoother because the original file got pixelated (because of compression I think) and I hadn't the big files anymore after years, I also weakened the effect with the transparency option of the layers - this could be the reason it looks better here.

Would it be possible if I send you one of my next (hopefully better XD) pictures for comparison/critique per note later? I'm always a bit shy and can imagine you might have not much time for that D:. Independent of your answer, your words are very helpful :3
