I'm looking forward to Hunger Games the most at the moment, but I've been waiting for Avengers longer. I also read World War Z way before I heard they were making a film, so you could say I've been hoping for that one for years!

I actually just read Hunger Games last week. I'm mildly obsessed. I actually covered Safe and Sound, a song from the upcoming film. Yes, shameless promotion >_>

And to answer your question... I'm actually looking forward to Twilight: Breaking Dawn pt. 2 ^^; I'm fortunate to have read the STELLAR books before seeing the meh movies, but all book-based movies are disappointing, so I've learned to love just seeing the characters on screen ^^;

No shame in that! I watched the first two films after reading the books, and I was very disappointed, so I just didn't bother to keep up with the films. I've heard wonderful things about the Hunger Games film, so I'm hoping that it's as faithful of an adaption as people are saying.

AsI said, I'm kinda disappointed in the films too, and novel-based films in general, but I enjoy them anyway. I was pretty pleasantly surprised when A Game of Thrones was announced as a miniseries rather than a movie -- the series is word-for-word faithful, like they handed the actors each a copy of the book and said "Here's your script" xD I wish they'd do that more often, but at least Harry Potter and Twilight took a step in the right direction by splitting the final books into two movies.

Game of Thrones is pretty stellar. As far as Twilight and Harry Potter, the two movies for each last book worked well. They are talking to split Mockingjay (Hunger Games trilogy) into two books, but I really don't think it would be needed. Hopefully it's not the new fad, and they do whatever fits the book best!

I guess what I'm looking forward to is MIB:3. I'm sure there are lots of other great films due, of which I haven't yet heard, but of the trailers I've seen, this one looks like great fun. :)

As for movies, I'm looking forward to The Dark Night Rises and Prometheus. I want to watch Hunger games as well, but not until after I read the book. There's also a bunch of movies from last year I still have to see :P

I have a ton of movies to catch up on as well, it can be so overwhelming! And definitely read the Hunger Games books first, they are amazing.
