Oh lookie! I made yet another Banjo-Kazooie fan character.
Meet, C.O.G. (The abbreviation should either be, Caretaker Of the Garden, Caretaker Of Games, or Caretaker Of the Gateways.) Unlike the Lord of Games, with C.o.G. it does not have a gender or sex, and it’s appearance and mannerisms can be pretty ambiguous at times. Despite that, C.O.G. prefers to be referred to as a he, for the sake of convenience.
COG serves LOG by watching over the Great Gateway Garden, a zone serving as a junction for gateways leading to every existing world and planet.(Banjo and Kazooie’s included.) Each gateway takes the form of a glowing screen(like a TV screen, hurr hurr), projecting whatever COG chooses to see what is currently going on in the world. Aside from LOG, COG are the only ones who have the ability to travel to and from the Garden and a world. In case of emergencies, COG wears a key around his neck that can used to travel to and from the Garden and a world. Of course, he has to be super careful that it never falls into the wrong hands. And like one would figure, the purpose of COG guarding over the Garden is if by any chance if anybody ever did manage to get out of their world and into the Garden, especially with the intention of causing chaos, he can stop them before they go into any other world and cause massive damage.
Because of the job of being the caretaker of the Great Gateway Garden, COG is always alone, with only his optical mouse, Opty, to keep him company. Always staying in the Garden, alone, sometimes makes him hate his job, and in return, sometimes makes him bitter towards LOG.
Like LOG, Cog is also a deity of sorts, though in a lower position. He is not nearly as powerful as LOG, but he still has some pretty powers of his own. He can float and fly just like LOG, is actually an impressive fighter, and he can shapeshift and take a form of whatever he pleases.(though he still retains his rectangular shaped irises, though) As you can see on the bottom of the picture, COG’s most common alternate form is that of a more human appearance.
His head design was based off these type of super old TV sets. http://bs.cyty.com/menschen/e-etzol.....eInBetrieb.jpg http://www3.sympatico.ca/wjbr/We54chs33.jpg COG's coat/outfit is also based around the uniforms the British Royal Guards wear.
Oh all of the crossover possibilities with the "Great Gateway Garden" concept. :B
