What happened to the whole war versus yoshikind? They just seemed to... well... get less bothersome one day.
Maybe it's just that the next craze popped up for the first-person-epic--yet-unorginal-storyline-crew and they turned into pokemon or whatever.
That were created in a secret evil megacorp lab or something and then escaped and are now on a mission to find out their true identity.
Because apparently there's big bucks to be made in the "creating angsty uncontrollable amnesiac pokemon" business.

To be honest, you're not one of the guys I'm talking about. You're just a yoshi player. Hell, I've got a yoshi character. What I'm talking about are the sweeping fads that tend to get irritating as hell, whether they be yoshies, pokemon, zombies, touhou or whatever, usually characterised by horrible overblown plotlines. Sometimes they stray into something you're interested in such as yoshies or whatever (goddamnit, if there's a similar craze about The Thing From Another World then Scree's gonna have some head-bashing to do) which is when they get really annoying, as you get tarred with the same brush...
