Yeah this comic started out to just be cute and maybe a lil' absurd... then it just became kind of woeful at the end!

wow this comic was incredible! the detail, the perspectives, the colors... everything about it was amazing. The page where the creature first enters actually freaked me out! I have a total fear of things standing in doorways. But damn, what impressive work! :D Thanks for sharing!

hahah yeah I am in my 20s and my biggest fears are still things in doorways, things at the end of hallways, and things in corners.

well my judgement is that that is actually the picture hanging from above the bed.

so my interpretation is that that shadow figure is, at the least, an "aspect" of the bear's lady friend.

And the symbolism of it not leaving the window could mean that it is something that continuously haunts him.

If that is an actual asylum, my best guess is that something (possibly death) had happened to this person, and the bear now finds them self unable to cope with this conclusion and is now continuously haunted by this apparition of the mind.

Or I could just be totally wrong it's just my guess

There is no wrong idea~ haha corny but it's true. It's really cool, because it's based on a friend's poem (http://rundxdi.tumblr.com/day/2012/02/18) so now people get to interpret an interpretation! Yours is very, very close to what I was getting from the poem.
