The Uncomfortable Kiss...
...This is a rather personal piece to me.
Basil is my sexual side to myself... and lately I've been in an odd war with that side of myself. I feel uncomfortable with it. Things are feeling forced on me it seems, so it's really hard...
In many ways shorty is "all" of me, so Basil, being my sexual side, is holding shorty in a firm grip. shorty doesn't like this, as I have not been liking these things lately (in real life).
But onto the characters themselves without "me" being involved...
Basil is a lesbian, so she loves girls~ Big and small (in every way). She'll do what she can to take what she wants. So, she forced shorty a kiss, even though shorty didn't want it. (shorty will only kiss those she's in love with. She doesn't like Basil)
I guess in some ways you can call Basil a "player", but she would like to find an actual mate at some point. Hehe.
There may be a part 2.
Also some changes:
shorty's white on her mane goes into her yellow now. Someone who did a piece for me colored shorty that way, and I LOVED it, so it shall be permanent. :'D
Basil now has yellow tipped ears (because every one of my characters has ears tipped in some color), and she has a temporary yellow line thing on her back... I am still trying to figure out her back markings.
She is also taller now. Maybe around 5'5'' instead of 5'.
I took a quick break from commissions to finish this, too, since this being unfinished was causing me to work slowly on commissions and start to rush. So hopefully I can get back to commissions and have nothing else in mind to have drawn out. xD

I do. D: Just right now I am having some problems with it... how to feel about it.... especially when it comes to being in a relationship. I've been thinking about it for a while. It's conflicting.

I totally understand what you mean with this too. I've felt that way before myself. Especially when I started to come to the realization I was a lesbian. I was always trying to force my way out of it, and I would force myself into a lot of bad situations that made me feel terrible.

This is so beautiful
I like the way it represents inner conflict and how uncomfortable it is. I like art where it represents something that might bugging a person's self or character...physical representations of different personalities , It comes out very expressive and artistic......

I can see the internal conflict. Shorty doesn't want to not acknowledge her sexual side, but also doesn't want to feel controlled by it.
One of my friends is a real 'player' type. He likes to spend most of his time having crazy sex. But you know, it is always with only one partner at a time, and he is seeking a more intimate mental connection. It just so happens that the physical aspect of the relationship is very important to him. I do not think that a libido is anything to be ashamed of.

Awkward in the sense of one side dominating the other and the other is reluctant and all that going through your mind process...@.@
But revealing as far as discovering things you'd want to know more about yourself, and even some things you don't want to find out. Which is always hard, too :c
This is an amazing personal piece, though. I have to say, I really dig Basil's design. Elegant in shades of blue, yellow ochre, and fancy horns <3
