Last month, about 2 weeks after I moved, my little girl passed away in her sleep. She was 7 years old and had her share of problems, but she was a tough, stubborn, loud, little bugger. As obnoxious as she could be.. the place is much too quiet without her.
I hadn't been able to post anything about her passing without interwebs and all, but since I drew something for Onny I felt Quarda-roy (pronounced like Corduroy) deserved something.
I used a pencil drawing of her I did in 2003 as a reference: http://fotter4.deviantart.com/art/Q.....da-Roy-4346144 .
I'd have made it a bit more detailed, but drawing it makes me sad. ;-;
(plus, no colouring is necessary, she was black and white. xD)
So, yeah.. one is the loneliest number.
My remaining ferret, Leroy, is the last one left of the busyness trio. I'd get him a new cagemate, but I don't know how he'd handle it. He's pretty territorial. I got Quardy just 2 months after I got Leroy and he was pretty rough on her for the first month; I had to keep them in seperate cages. But with Onny, Leroy couldn't care less about him when I adopted him. So, I don't want to stress him out with a ferret he's 'incompatible' with. >.<; A friend of mine works at a PetCo, and she claims that they are not allowed to take 'returns' on ferrets that they've sold, but when someone brings a fubby back, usually a staff member adopts it. My friend told me that the next time one is brought back she'll give me a call.
