Bellpepper baked and beautiful from the kitchens of
stripekazama
So, I've been wanting to try and make a meatfilled bell pepper for quite a while and this is what I came up with!
Ingredients
3 Red Peppers
500 grams minced meat
9 streaks of bacon
Mozzarella
How to:
1. Turn the oven to 200 celsius degrees.
2. Fry the meat in a pot, spice it to your own liking. I used cayennepepper, blackpepper and I also added a tad bit of chilisauce.
3. Also fry the bacon. But not enough for it to get properly fried.
4. Cut the top of the bell pepper and remove all seeds. If the bell pepper keeps wanting to fall over, cut off parts of the bottom until it stands upright.
5. Put the fried streaks of bacon into the upright-standing pepper, make sure the bacon covers the bottom of the pepper.
6. Add the meat to it, and fill it nearly to the top.
7. Slice pieces of mozzarella and put on top of the meat. Drizzle the mozzarella with a bit of olive oil. And if wanted, sprinkle a tad black pepper ontop!
8. Put it in the oven for about 30 minutes. Then it's done!
