I love how the colors turned out too! The original was overly warm/yellow, and what I normally do is just a simple color correction by clicking on an area that's supposed to be white, grey, or black. But there really weren't any areas in this photo that were true greyscale, so I kinda clicked around here and there on the closest to white areas. Bert has some white fur, but it's not like paper white, so it didn't correct the color quite true to life. I'm sure there are more involved ways to edit the color levels to make it closer to real life, but I think I like these colors more!
