I see the Keranid now. They just have a lot of similar features that both of the species share.

I though that it was a mutated sergal specimen at first..
And I still think Kara took a lot from them but it could happen that he made them up before sergals had their part in furry's life.. Still keranids are danm sergal-like and Fleki's form is showing that for sure.
Probably keranids have a lot in common with sergals and both species happen to be genetically related to each other..

Я понимаю, что это может быть неприятно, однако то что ты сейчас делаешь называется overreacting. Не подберу наверное синонима в русском языке, но пофиг.

don't get me wrong but im working on my species since 10 years and what changed over time is that I got better with arts. I my self love the Sergal species BUT I did not copy anything from it. It was mere coincidence what they both share.

I have to say I know sergals since a long time because I knew them BEFORE community vored them up and shit em out hard, drawing the proportions so badly that most of the resemblance to the original went missing. People do not KNOW how a original sergal look like it seems. And they take references of artists who mess up the anatomy again so in the end people view anything with long ears and long muzzle as sergal which kinda pisses me off hard.

I mean.. basically a Sergal is a mixture of a Shark and a chicken with long ears and fluff. The basic form is birdlike and that is a fact.

Taken the keranids as a matter a fact are not even mammals. The whole social build up has not one thing in common. the main resemblance is the neck fluff and longer neck in general, the long slender build and that's it. The eye is not a resemblance because slit pupils are not a standard. As well as the tongue has only a resemblance because of it having structure on it and even that is different. Keranids have a stop.. a more snakelike/reptilian buildup of the head, the chest build is not even human like when you look at my drawings of my character that I use as reference as well as tail paws hands and so on. Mistaking a other race for sergals is in my eyes simply a fact of lack of knowledge about the sergal race in whole which is rather sad when people don't know anything about the race they are using.

Thats the most important thing of all. I was a bit worried, since i never get the keranidae right, but as long as you like it its ok XD
Btw. I think your characterdesign (colors, haircut, ...) is very cool. Dunno. You can tell its "Fleki" right away.

I think it`s indeed a little sergalish, but whatever, my char not a purebreed, just a mix, so, not a big deal, I may look different.
But most of all at this picture I like the expression, it fits char very well.

And oh well, thank you! Actually all what I`m doing it`s trying to keep my char as close to real me as possible, so, I could take it as a compliment to my real self XD

I adore characters that look like their owners. I try this with my fly too :)
But i think the combo blond/red hair and dark fur looks very iconic! You get it right away, you could change your form/breed and it would still be fleki~
