Holy crap... It's nearly 4am, and I just spent all night cutting together my best shots. Out of more than 3,000, so few made the cut. One into a set of photos for albums I'm making for friends and family. And a more streamlined set for FA. Before I go to bed, I'll put this up for now.

This was taken on my first night in Tokyo. Just down the street from my hostel was the iconic Senso-ji buddhist temple. Complete with ten-foot-tall lanterns and a long line of souvenir shops hocking overpriced merchandise, like rubber sumo hair and crappy fake katanas. Though after 5pm the shops close and the whole place becomes rather quiet and serene. I managed to set up my tripod and hit the timer for this shot in front of the first gate.

I'll put up more photos after I get some sleep... Stay tuned for some night shots of the temple grounds.
