Awwwww, he looks so nice, and gentle. Hell NO!!! He's the biggest pain in the butt deer that I have ever own. He's an escape artist, tree destroyer, and a buck with a tude. Who knows, maybe he'll turn out like Houdini, who was royal hell during his younger years, who is now very friendly.

Benton does in some ways look like a whitetail. He really don't look like the other bucks, but he is still a Fallow. I just wish I could remember who he is out of.

It is sooo not a white tailed, their antlers are not like that nor do they have spots when they are adults.

I live in Texas, someone owns a deer ranch here. We have a herd of the black deer, and some escapies.. which he had to have been

What part of Texas do you live in? A herd of Axis deer escaped from a ranch about 10 years ago when I tonado took down the game fence. Since then, they have been running threw out town. People are always stopping by wondering if they are my deer that are running all over the place.
