I go out in my fursuit to have fun and provide entertainment to those who I meet. Its not like Im molesting people, doing sexual things, or causing trouble. Its a form of entertainment. And believe it or not most people SEE it as that. Not as some creeper, stalker, rapist, or whatever else you want to call it.
I'm just saying it could happen, its just I said that because I live in a town were being furry is frowned opon more than other places, come to think of it I don't tink I have ever seen anything furry related in New York at all. By the way your welcome for the kudos on the suit. I wish I could be that free with being furry.
Its just something you gotta accept. your going to get shit no matter what you do so really it shouldn't really keep you from being what you want to be. Im a cosplayer as well so Im pretty used to people seeing me as a freak and judging me harshly before they get to know me. Its a risk that comes with the territory and I enjoy running about in the costumes I make way too much to rollover simply because someone thinks ill of what I do.
You have a point and I see where your coming from but I am just not that type of person I mean I would rather have some friends that don't like furries than like two friends and a bunch of people i have never met on the computer, see the problem. I mean i'm fine with just the art and trying to hide it. Its like a game, see how long you can keep it going but untill then... I don't think I need to say it.
Its stupid yes. But its a very technological age and some people just have an easier time communicating through they internet than putting in face time. I myself would wrather interact with a living thing but the internet is a great tool to use for staying in touch and meeting new people that are in to the same things
You have a point yet again but I would rather as you said talk to people face to face. The internet is almost useless to me in the catagory of communication besides obviously on FA and sometimes skype but thats it. I don't any facebook or myspace I mean who really does? I rest my case.
