So, so true. Why do we thrive on stereotypes? Especially those about us furries?
If these "pricks" were to possibly stop being so ignorant and insensitive to us, maybe they can see that we are not all pr0n, and that we actually give back to society in ways like this poster describes.

If furries can raise as much money as they did for Fernando's, I can believe it. plus, it says Autism and Diabetes, so 5 Mil apiece, I can see that.

They raised a bit over 20 thousand for funandos, and everyone knows about that. Somehow 500 times that amount gets raised and no one knows a detail about it? Bullshit.

I'm agreeing with you, trust me, but I'm saying I could see something like that happening. Hell, maybe they are combining all the years they have raised money for those causes.

or for a liking (or not liking) a certain thing. used to have some furry friends who all liked speed metal. personally i don't. i like some metal but more of classic metal. when they found out this they flipped out.

so in retrospect, furries are pretty much like any other fanbase or community on the internet. we have our positives and our faults.....mostly faults. a lot of faults. that's kinda why i don't like people saying the furry community is this awesome thing. it's ok in small groups but as a whole there's a lot of problems.

Yeah I imagine this is more supposed to be animal related donations all the cons ive been too have animal themed donation events. So Im going to ask where the documentation is? because if this is true then awesome but documentation first.

You know, I get the idea behind it... But I've gota be "That guy" and say that not all furries (vast majority) donated or did anything like this. And if we want to take credit for what they did, we have to include the fact that there's non furries out there donating Millions or Billions that they could take credit for..
