It just occurred to me that every time I listen to music and read these poetry pieces, I always feel even deeper-connected to them...

Was listening to "Breathe" by Disturbed, and it just...seemed so damned right...especially when it hit the chorus, for whatever reason...

"You will release your life
Joining with the goddamned world
Of the dead and the lonely
You'll never leave alive
Now do you think you're too damn good
For the killing kind"

Maybe it's just the music that plays during that part, the melody and rhythm of it, but it feels so right with this piece...must be a talent I have, finding poetry in musical spaces, lol

Anyways, great piece as always, very touching.

Well, I get detailed, intricate songs in my head when I get tired or am just waking up... songs that have never been written... and I've forgotten so many melodies before having a chance to write them... I was told, because of this, it's an innate ability that few people have.
