Hell, it's about time.

No, you aren't hallucinating. I've finally gotten off my indolent posterior and uploaded a bona fide story.

Some of my watchers may recognize this story - it was written several years ago for an inflation fiction contest held over at BI.org. At the time, I wasn't entirely happy with it, having never written a story with such a strict word limit before. People seemed to like it though, so I thought I'd share it with you here.
