One thing you might work on.. is smoother transition. Keeping the music interesting is one thing, but don't just change every sample immediately.. like allow one to tumble into another. Or introduce the new sound with the old one before letting it go solo. Also, don't be afraid to stick with a certain path for longer than 8 beats, because sometimes it sets the mood better the longer you go. Then, when you DO change, it's that much more satisfying. ^^
