Part of a trade I'm doing with the lovely  chakatstarpelt for some character cameos in hir stories! ^_^ I'm drawing another char of hirs as well, but was inspired the other night and just HAD to get my vision of Star on paper--so here shi is! ^^ I dunno 'bout ya'll....but that's one sexy chakitty right there. ;) I hope to do more pics of this lovely kitty in the future--shi was so much fun to draw and even more so to color!

I think shi looks a bit "Kitty Softpaws" in this pic...something about hir expression saying 'Yeah, we could duel....but the swords are optional.' ;) I certainly envy the lucky fur who gets to see hir in this getup--or lack thereof! XD I opted to do hir nosepad in a deep shade of dusty rose to give the image more contrast than just being all black--I hope it looks ok, Star! ^^;;

I also plan to get a MUCH better scan so the background doesn't look off white XD And for anyone who's interested in just how I get from A to B when I'm makin' teh artz, check out my scraps as I'll be posting an in progress sample using this pic. ;)
