Handsome! John Lennon glasses, huh?

Haha, so I've been told. (The Lennon frames, not the handsome, lol.)
I really need to take more photographs of myself. I can't help but think every photo I'm in looks hideous, so I'm hoping the professional photographer's trick of 'take thousands of shots and may be one will be good' will work for me.
Know any good photographers who will be passing through Florida at some point?
