A DESCRIPTIVE TITLE
It was like I had the damn soundtrack to the 1982 Conan the Barbarian movie stuck in my fucking head all weekend at FWA, man. I love that sound track, don't get me wrong: I even have it on CD, you know? And I DO listen to it a lot, but I don't wear my headphones at the table in the artist alley since, you know, I'd like to be able to hear someone if they need to get my attention and all.
So yeah, I drew this. And stuff.
I'm going to blame... not having had an opportunity to draw muscles with muscles in quite some time.
Also, I have this thing about drawing girls when I'm drawing furries? I have no idea. But I needed to draw muscles, too, so here: A muscle guy dragging along a girl. Tadah! Everyone wins!
Except Jim, who hasn't stopped giving me the fucking cat bulletin since like this afternoon when I got back from Atlanta. Uschi too. Apparently all the things are wrong, and I, their human father, must fix these things. :/
Cats don't think they own humans: They just assume humans are magic and can fix all the horrible things in the world, like weather and [the disturbing lack of] glowing dots (to chase).

Ha ha, I'm glad to see that influence carried over. :P
It's... different from that, the drawing usually female furries thing. My guess is I'm actually a bit more inclined to draw females still anyway, but I don't tend to like many female characters well enough in order to draw them, and it's only in fan art that I draw humans. Thus, humans I draw tend to be male because those are the characters with whom I'm obsessed, while when I want to draw a self-contained image which isn't fan art, I go with furries and for some reason females. Furries because I will never really be comfortable with humans by default (indeed, I don't even imagine characters in books looking human unless they're given very clear, human descriptions), so it's much easier for me to whip up a random, nameless furry than it is for me to do the same with a human. MUCH easier. Females... My guess there is that because of the types of images I want to draw when not doing fan art are better suited to female subjects (most of the time), and this is likely due to the influence of seeing so much art over the years which focused entirely on females, so it's hard for me to conceptualize art which isn't such.
I have been getting a better idea of males being used in a similar fashion, but then I'm more likely to grab the nearest pretty male from a show I like (i.e. Pete White) and toss him into images that make no goddamned sense whatsoever as far as the show is concerned. It's all a little confused right now.
