Two people that have been badly hurt in the past and are bitter and jaded as a result meet... one shows the other a simple gesture of friendship, and it makes life seem a little less bleak to both of them.

This drawing seriously just came to me at random today, so I went with it. This is my gift for  HipHopDingo, to whom Rai belongs. It's also a personal gift to Isis and Rai, who both deserve a little light in their lives.

BIO - Isis

Little is known about Isis... by her own choice. While not bent on revenge or fixated on violence, Isis tends to be sullen and often prefers to be alone. She seeks out company only of those whom she feels she can discretely protect, or whom she feels a kinship with. And even then, she does so in measured doses.

Isis is a short-haired lamia. Though she was once a mermaid. What caused her to change forms? "That is my business alone," is her direct answer.
