I've been making Perler sprites, and well, I keep seeing Mega Man X stuff and im like I WANT TO MAKE YOU, but then realize I have no red beads to make them 8C So I did the next best thing and drew Zero XD
This was more playing with lighting than anything else, the background is a severely doctored screenshot from MMX where I painted over it and such that I took via a play through using ZSNES. It was, again playing with lighting more than BGs since I'm not all that talented quite yet in making backgrounds XD

Seriously though I seem to notice that commonality where the alternate character/villain/villain-turned-ally ends up being a cooler character to me than the actual namesake or hero of the franchises.

Its funny, because I didn't like the MMZero franchise, like at all. Probably because they turned a cool character like Zero into a new design that made him look like a child :\
And I love that review Egoraptor did. I laugh everytime I see it. More specifically when his avatar punches the shit out of Roll whenever she pops up XD
