The 'before' drawing seems to have slightly more details.

Yes, but I simplified my character over the years so yes.. the 'after' drawing has less details Also I went from traditional to digital.

Very cute! So is it true that, on the switch from traditional to digital, most try to find a way to get the same result while using fewer lines?

Well I wasn't a very advanced artist so I don't have an answer but... I don't use fewer lines... but my style has changed over the years and even in the past few months...
