This is one of my guinea fowl who's taking a dirt bath. Guineas are really good "watchdogs" and eat a lot of bugs and ticks- even more than chickens.

I'm going to be posting more photography pics later :)

Guinea fowl!! Or, as my husband calls them, "hell chickens"! I think the only thing my husband laments about us living in a townhouse instead of a rural area is the fact that he can't keep guinea fowl. He loves those things. XD

I love guineas even though sometimes they're a bit squawky. "hell chickens" is now my favorite name for them!XD

I love the noises they make, but that's probably mostly because when we see them, it's because we're visiting a local zoo. (Although recently they haven't been on exhibit! Sad!) If I had to listen to that squeaking day in and day out it would probably drive me batty!
