Last one I promise!!!
The color spectrum of just these pelts alone are really cool. Placed from the smallest (left) to the largest (right). Had failed to get the coyotes in there as I had remembered them only after I had taken all 30 or so pounds of fur back inside.

it was sarcasm. of course she didn't kill them.
people collect pelts, use them for artistic reference, spiritual reasons, or just because they are beautiful. I can't talk for sharpe, but many people who collect pelts are careful of their sources to make sure the animals they were from weren't cruelly treated or killed just for their skins

haha sorry didn't got that sarcasm.
well maybe she didnt kill them by herself as u say but buying it promotes hunting because people are giving money to the poeple that kills these animals which is worst. If they were not killed only for their skin... what else were they killed for?

Calm down. Most of the people that buy pelts here buy from people who acquire them from natural causes.
Hence why 'careful when purchasing' was stated. If your against it as much as you say, you should probably know this as she specifically states these are for ARTISTIC REFERENCE for her suit making.

Actually, one Breakspire is correct for my intentions. Two, hunting can also be a good thing :)
Hunters and sportsman are the main funds for any and all wildlife work such as wilderness restoration, wildlife rehabilitation/restoration, and other things that not only help the ecosystem, but strengthen it. Many predators are culled to keep numbers at balance. Too many predators means not enough food to go around and many starve, dying slowly and painfully. Just like too many deer will eat down the vegetation and starve during the winter months. Some things aren't always killed for just what is on them. Some hunters, including me, will hunt for food to keep my family alive a well as keeping the cost of food low when you can barely scrape by. While I did not kill these particular animals shown, they are all handled carefully and with respect.

well if what u say its true it makes me feel relieved. Though I would do the same for my family if I was in that situation. I just got a bit upset when I saw these pelts cuz my first impression was that u hunted these and I apology if I misunderstood.
Its just that I seen hunters (not all) hurt these animals in a really bad way, and I can't stand doing nothing.
I apologize again for misunderstanding

I say the fallowing with respect and no this is not a rant please to not take it as such))
1-Yes there is a need for balance but there are more herbavors then canivors for a reason. You are hunting canivors something that is mostly lacking in many places for exactly the reasons in this picture. So hunt the leaf eaters first because without canivors to do it they run amock eat too much vegetation and doesnt give it a chance to re grow and that causes a dangerious problem
2- Canivors deying of hunger happens more then you think, thats called nature is working. Those who do not fallow the herd must move on or die. It's what humans have done for centuries as well.
I hope their bodies where used, every single piece of them, because we already have waste problems with cows I would hate to see these go to waste as well. They have magnificiant furs, but again I would prefer a live fox then to a dead one.
BTW nice art work and fur heads :) Always better to finish on a happier note :)

I told myself I wasn't going to post anything to this but I have to after you said about " waste problems with cows"... let me share something with you XD

I'd hardly say theres a "waste" problem with cows XD

I though Pita got the using animals part in glue discontinued? Ether way, my main point was go to a super market. If you think all that meat gets bought and eaten, its not the case its still waste :/ That and restaurents, fastfoods, anywhere where food is sold in mass quantity really.
(I also know the ground up cow carcasses and use it as feed which in its self its just plane wrong but I'm not 100% sure if thats due to people saying stop the massif waste or them trying to save a buck, probably the buck thing).
But thx for the link actually, rather informative. :)

'your a furry but you killed all these?' ...I don't really like that line lol just because someone is a 'furry' does not mean they can do and cant do things, or should/should not do things. It seems not everyone can enjoy beautiful things even when dead. These pelts are beautiful c: absolutely stunning btw, I'm really digging the opossums you have there.
People do different things, some people hunt for food and using the whole animal. Others just for sport and or prize/trophy. I don't think anyone should jump to conclusions about this picture.

I wasn't saying I support __ or I don't support ___. I was simply stating that yes, there are people out there that hunt and there are people who do not.
I posted the first comment before you apologized. I did not like the way you worded some things in your previous comment. You apologized and thats that. Nothings wrong, lets just leave it at that.

Hooray I knew there was going to be something about killing animals.. Lol doesn't matter where you are you will always get at least one!
But any who totally agreeing with Smudge above and will say they are absolutely gorgeous the luxurious furs and the wonderful colours I'm digging them all!

Damn those are freakin sweet!
Just out of curiosity, where did you obtain that wolf pelt? (I'm guessing thats what the big one is)
I thought wolf fur was illegal to own in the US due to their endangered...ness. Are you from elsewhere, or do you just have a hook up?
All of these pelts look very well taken care of. Good on ya

Oh my goodness! I only own a fox pelt and several fox tails but I would love to acquire more. Do you ever sell any of the pelts you acquire? I squeed when I saw the opossums! I'd love to get a possum pelt one day. My dream pelt is a river otter, though. I'd like it turned into a pouch for herbs and magick items. (idk if you've read the book Clan of the Cave Bears, but the medicine women carry otter pelt pouches and that is where I got the idea heh!)
Also, just gotta say, lol @ the ignorance of the haters. *facepalm*

I love that you are willing to show your pelts in a artistic way. But you might want to put your discamer about the lovely pelts in all the pics. Even tho you got from other owners. But don't need to have some Furrys on here jump on you. As the reson you have them is for art.
Hell I'm not for hunting for fun and wasting. But when its for food and the animal is respectfully used fully then I'm ok as long as its not harming their #'s as I have a lovely fox pelt what my mom found for me at a tagsale for $1 that was old and goes around the neck. I also think I have a old hat with ocelot fur or leopard fur on the tirm that I found at a antique store in the $5 bin. And then a lynx paw shank from a Native American store.

although I love this sort of stuff it might not be a bad idea to put this under mature theirs a lot of squeamish furs around taxidermy just to save from some drama (trust me ... when though this my self with a snake case i have, it caused a crazy stupid amount of drama and it wasn't even a real snake!)
very nice collection I'm jelly (my taxidermy and scull collection is still pretty small at the moment)
