History:
After the events that took place in November 2266 involving an armada of Drakh and our own vessels (most of which were lost or damaged), EarthForce commissioned a new 'light' destroyer to be designed in order to replace a small portion of EA warships lost in the fight with the Drakh. Nearly two years later, the first three George Custer-class Pocket Destroyers were presented, and much to the surprise of EarthGov, the third vessel was christened Red Planet and given to MarsGuard as a 'gift' by the ships design team.
