That is NOT the oldest picture I've ever drawn of Kathy, by far, but it's the oldest I happen to own. I ripped it out of an old notebook that had...HORRIBLE comics I use to draw. [One panel was drawn...maybe I counted a total of five panels completed per 'comic'....I had a bad habbit of changing my mind on what I wanted to draw.]

Kathy was a HUGE Mary Sue...So much so that it's embarrassing. She was a Cat/Echidna hybrid, and Knuckles' sister [SOMEHOW!!!], was drawn at least ONCE either hugging, or holding hands with EVERY guy character [except Vector and Charmy.... D8>], she knew EVERY LANGUAGE EVAR, could FLY, and was a princess. [I had this horrible habbit of "MUST LOOK PRETTIER THAN SALLYYYYYYY"...you can see heavy influences from Sally in Kat's design... Not so much in her original, but later on, when I started watching SatAM and reading the comics.] ...Needless to say, she has been toned down, drastically.


I had to color the old Kathy, to show the color differences in old and new. They are slight in the fur color [older is a bit more purpleish], and her eyes are lighter now.


The original Kathy was just a cat. She changed to, what I called, a Felidna when Knuckles came out. Ugh.. I don't wanna talk about it anymore, it hurts me xDDDD
