Shelly and Rudy spend some time together to have a tender moment.

Rudy-"You been mighty good to me, Shelly. You and Flood treated me far better then any dinosaur had ever treated me before since I was a young one. And I'm not going to forget that. I swear I'm not. it's a prime comfort to see faces that's friendly when a dino's in such a muck of trouble, and the only ones who care are you and Flood."

Shelly-"I know, Rudy. At first, I thought that you were just a mindless beast...just like Buck said. I mean, sure when you get hungry, you're awful frighting...and your scary too. But I now I know that you have a good heart inside of you.
