*Title to come* -being decided upon by my guy.

The majestic tiger. They are beautiful creatures with their colourings and stripes.
I based the picture on a small reference photo I found on google images, however I changed quite a few things. The tiger is now more facing the front, has blue fixed eyes, and a new background. I wanted to add a hint of reflection to the water and added cherry blossoms hanging over the water to soften the overall feeling of the picture and link it back to Japanese roots.
Longest picture so far due to the detail of lights and shadows, the stripes, and the short yet dense fur.
My next piece will not be realism -time for a break :3

In the beginning I was wondering Why the white hair around the bottom of this tigers face was longer then the top but now that I see it's in water, that explains alot. And I didint notice it when you showed me this on MSN, but that reflection of the cherry blossoms in the water is almost a exact replica, did you copy and paste that or redraw the blossoms on the waters reflection by scratch?
Wow, you have alot of skill in doing that, and the fading on the reflections is a nice touch.
I really like how you made that transition from the background to water, mainy because many people just makes the reflections all grayed out, but actualy having a tint of color from the original piece makes it pop out abit more naturaly ^^.
