No idea what species those birds were but they were hilarious in trying to steal food from tourists.
Pic taken on Aiguille du Midi in french alps (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aiguille_de_midi), then highest place in Europe you can get on without mountain equipment. 3842 meters above sea level. It's a small complex of viewing platforms, restaurant, souvenir shop and some other things atop of a steep mountain, connected to Chamonix (1035) with cable cars. 2.8 km height difference! That cable car ride and the views were definetely worth the nearly 50 euros you have to spent to go on top. Esspecialy when the wheather is nice. And that nice surprise when you discover that the plastic bottle you opened on top collapsed inside when you got back down.
