A while back, I felt like sketching ponies so I asked members of the Bronies United group I'm a member of to suggest things for me to sketch. One of the suggestions that popped up was from my bud Ed, who requested his character Midnight be drawn in a setting from the story he's working on getting submitted to Equestria Daily. The part of the story he wanted me to illustrate was a rainy spring day and I wanted to experiment with rain. I got carried away...
