I've been having fun drawing Mez lately, probably because it gives me something to do other than adjust the tracking on lines of text and working with an implied grid.

I'm also putting this here to explain the idea, even though most people probably don't care too much (especially since it isn't porn). I've had this world, as well as some others in my head, where my characters live. This world isn't exactly post apocalyptic, but more post globalized civilization, where civilization has peaked and destroyed itself. The world is a mix of lush forests, deserts, etc. and the decaying remnants of cities/other civilized structures. The erasure of most civilized culture came about abruptly when scientists doing their sciencing managed to create a portal to a different dimension, and through it came fantastical creatures of gargantuan proportions, as well as an anomaly that caused most of the technology to become useless. The portal was held open by some unknown force, and still is to this day, ushering in more and more of these strange creatures as well as their flora.

Well, in this world the remnants of civilization have been divided into three main groups, the Hold, remnants of civilization who live a very militaristic lifestyle and try to keep the world civilized, mostly consisting of soldiers. The second group is a yet unnamed culture that has forgone standard civilization and reverted to a nomadic tribal lifestyle where they live off of the monsters that they can hunt. The third group is usually thought of as a myth, the Magos, who live in a citadel that few are able to find and even fewer come back from seeing. By most these people are seen as mages, but they are more engineers who have found a way to create machines that are able to function through the anomaly.

Mez is a warrior from the Magos, which means she's adept with machinery and stuff.

So yeah. Pointless backstory to get it put down somewhere.
