Yet unnamed, these are Hartless' two new buddies. They're brothers from a local pet store (who had to rescue them from one of their branches as they were not being sold/cared for properly) According to the guy, they hadn't been socialized as much as they should. The skinnier one (His left, our right) is a bit more friendly, sniffing and exploring, but fweeks at little being picked up. More of a "hey whats going on" than a terrified noise. The heftier one (his right, our left) is a bit shyer, hiding in Hartless' beard/my hair and only sticking his nose out to sniff if his brother is nearby.
For being "undersocialized" they are insanely good tempered.

True...but my cat's temperament, she's not terribly friendly. She's affectionate with me.....and that's about it. Everybody else she hides from, or if approached, hisses and claws at. Sadly, I don't think she'd adapt well to any other pets in the house, regardless of species.
I admit though, this is partially my fault...I spoil my little fuzzball, and so she kinda is used to getting her way.

Yep! These boys will take a bit more work because they're older but so far they've been pretty good about being handled and moved. As soon as SOMEONE picks names for them, I'll be working on getting them to respond to said names. I used to have a rat who would steal pen caps but bring them back when asked and another that liked to bring me pencils.
