I like how you showed the signs of transformation in this scene. It's really awesome to note that such strong emotions such as panic could induce indicator signs in such a way!

You picked up on that perfectly :) Strong emotions do affect their transformations at times.

i honestly don't know what order to read these panels in on this page... the picture content would show that i should be top, bottom right, middle right, then left if you go by the order in which nine has the cuffs on his wrists. but if you go by the level that dice has transformed... top, bottom right, left, middle right?

the dialogue doesn't really point me in either of these directions, i'm just confused >_<

aside from that, i do enjoy this page

Just follow the progress of the cuffs. As for Dice's transformation, it seems it's caused by his outburst of desperation, but he manages to keep himself in check, and thus his transformation is gone by the last panel.

Read from top to bottom, left to right, always.

Ohhhh I see why you were confused then. Yeah, Dice is removing them because Nine won't need to be restrained with them in the cage :P I wasn't sure why the page was hard to read cuz it's not got any crazy overlapping panels, but we do get some manga readers who get confused by the left-to-right reading.

There are a number of instances where this happens, but generally happens when someone's super angry/flustered/afraid. Dice in particular has a little less control. So it's not a voluntary transformation and usually only goes partway before they get a handle on it.

He is so little, :P SO cute compared to nine.

I guess its just that Nine is big, but whatever.

Yeah it's a combination of both :) Nine is super tall and Dice is fairly short for a guy so side by side you've got a David and Goliath looking situation XP

Someone made a mistake: cuffs have been removed BEFORE the prisoner is back in the cage... Potential trouble have now been multiplied by a factor of two, at least... And the last panel is just so cute, looks like a mouse trying to make a mountain move... XD

Well, he works for the ruthless totalitarian Insurgi, so he would definitely get fired, if not executed. He's really playing with fire, but when Dice is shot up on tranqs he tends not to think these things through all the way.
