So for those of you watching me, you are familiar with the cat of 9 tails I had made. Well I finally got around to testing it out and I figured a couple things out. First, the tails were too close together and all hit along the same place. This made it so it didn't much distribute the weight or impact and thus felt more like getting hit with a flexible brick. Sure it had a nice hit to it but the next morning I felt pretty beat up and worked out. Second, all of the tails on this were only held to the handle by 3 rings. If swinging from the handle only, the weight and pull the tails put on these rings would actually cause them to open or break and then the tails would fall off. Last, because of their initial closeness, the tails had a habit of getting tangled up kinda quick. So I decided to look at it for a little bit and I came up with the solution, reinforce the connection from the tails to the handle so they can no longer separate while at the same time spreading the tails a little further apart for less tangling and a wider smack. So that's exactly what you are seeing here. A few layers of added rings inside and outside the cluster of tails but all interlinked and solid. I even dragged my friend across the floor (me holding the handle and them holding the tails) for a good 10-15 feet and nothing budged, warped, gave, or shifted. I would assume that this project is done and ready to go ^_^
