Feeling insecure about his weak body, Dade decides to forgo weightlifting and dieting, and even steroids and plumps for the occult. "This spell will bestow the caster with powerful muscles by summoning a demon," the spells began. After eagerly following the instructions, Dade prepared himself by standing in the pentagram.
"That's weird," he'd thought. "I always assumed that the demons were the ones in the pentagram..."
And he was right.

pretty cool. Though I think it sorta depends on what system of magic you're going by for who stands in a pentagram. If I recall in some forms of magic, the pentagram is a symbol of order and protection against evil and so the caster would stand inside it for protection. Then there are devil worshipers who essentially make an inverted pentagram with the five pointed star pointing downwards with one of the points longer than the others. I'm sorry to say that that's about all I know on the matter. But still I stand by my earlier statement, this is such a cool picture, and I love the tf. I'm kinda curious if his mind will remain in tact or not and whether he might have more demonic tendencies once his tf is done.
Unlike the above 2 posters, I'm not religious, or even ex-religious, but I'm still enjoying this.
Incidentally, there are 2 superheroes with slightly similar occult origins: DC's The Demon and Marvel's The Gargoyle -- both of whom were turn-ons at an early age for me.

Glad you like 'em! Jack Kirby, creator of The Demon, was of course a much greater artist but I must admit, strictly from a fantasizing standpoint, The Gargoyle always turned me on more, particularly when Don Perlin drew him in The Defenders.
(I like the idea of a 78-year-old man trapped in a youthful, superpowered demonic body too. Delicious contrast of conservatism and decadence, or something... )
