the symbol on the bowl isn't anything specific,.. ended up looking halfway between the Japanese: 'Fire' and Chinese: 'love' kanji. :'S
*character is based off an actual spider plushie we now owed n' name Udon

Collect them too :p I really love spiders !
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that spiders can be neat if you give them a chance.
we used to have the same sorta 'pet' spiders in the corners of long tube-lighting @ my childhood home~ ^^-; used to trap/batter/psuh flies into their webs for them and watch 'em get all excited! X'D lol
FYI spiders scare tha bajeebus out of me... but this one is ok.

You must all eat noodles during the jam then. Otherwise her as a mascot, for an art jam, only makes some level of sense.
Suppose the level of sense doesn't really manicotti though.
I love spiders so much, so this is just automatic love for me. The colors and markings are great, and I love the idea of a spider making udon noodles with his/her spinnerets.
It would make an awesome print. I could imagine this as a sign for restaurant.
Although and spider that can spin yummy egg noodles would be EPIC!!!...I know I wouldn’t mind being poisoned slowly if I got to have some tasty noodle. =u=

ya its always fun to have some out of the normal...it makes a interenting to see how people react to something that most consider to be ...well eeecckky. ^^
