Beautiful. I wish I could grow some of those purple forms of Viola sororia, but as V. sororia 'Priceana' is infamous for being noxious weed here in Korea, I think importing them would be something very irresponsible to do.
By the way, Lamprocapnos spectabilis in north america? Quite interesting. I wonder if it is an escapee from cultivation....

L. spectabilis was probably brought over (either by accident or on purpose). The L. purpureum is also an invasive species, and can be seen all over yards, on the side of highways, and pretty much where ever there's a favorable spot for it (aka, they're weeds). They start out pretty, then darken without their flowers.
I heard a story on NPR recently about plants accidentally getting transported to Antarctica by ways of seeds stuck to camera bags / equipment. Hard to grow anything there, but still interesting.

I took a look at your profile. I'm glad you appreciate flowers and plants.

Those are very tiny flowers, about the width a bit bigger than a pinky. They were mowed over the following day. The tiny pansies are a wild flower, found usually on lawns and sunny grassy areas around here. I live in Charlotte, NC in the US.
