Glory was my most favorite toy when I was a kid. So much so that her tail hairs had fallen out and I replaced them with a purple beaded bracelet. Here's a quick and simple pic I did of my favorite My Little Pony.

I think it's really cute. I always loved Firefly and while I'm not a huuuge RD fan (I love all the mane six, and they've all been my favorite in different episodes, and least favorites too) I love that she inspired RD ;-; I just love that she tried to take from the old series, since the designs were great and the actual program wasn't very good.

She is so gorgeous <333 I love the style of the G1 ponies and while I love the new TV series, I don't like the toys nearly as much. I have two Morning Glories, actually, she is one of my favorites. And although Morning Glory also reminds me of my favorite G4, Rarity, she wasn't her main inspiration, actually!

But that's neither here nor there--this is beautiful. you capture the old style and the energy of the shading and mane you put into it is really beautiful.

Thanks! I am not too familiar with the newer generation of ponies.. (I'm a stubborn old codger like that) but there are times I DO wish I still had at least some of my ponies, (I had TONS) I think I will draw a few more of the ones I had as a kid. it was a pretty fun way to blow off a little steam.

I just got into the series because I'm such a big fan of Lauren Faust and Craig McCracken (he doesn't work on the series but their styles feed off of one another, so...) and I have some of the toys but they were all gifts--the older toys are my favorites.
