So I decided to have a dip into unknown waters and try my hand at building a portable forge. Whilst things will get more complicated later, I started with the basics; some decent fire cement, an application tool and a sweet tin to use as a base.

Whilst the tin itself certainly wouldn't stand up to forging temperatures alone, the fire cement should take the burden of the heat.
