
Yeah! Once again, something entirely new from me. That's a result of my recent Zbrush studies.
I sculpted a portrait of a feathery utahraptor, just for a test... Then when I was painting it I decided to place those red markings on his snout... so he would look a bit like
echrei ( just in a different style! xD)
ps: I somehow lost control of those feathers and they went crazy a little bit... But I liked that random result :D

Btw, my camera was often sliding down his throat while I was sculpting xD...
I think I should have more dinosaur references for sculpting to be sure they're correct :} Maybe there are some decent paleontology sites with images?

Hehe, indeed, there are many. ;) If you're looking for anything in particular, feel free to note me and I can provide you with accurate reference. Usually when I draw dinosaurs, I use skeletal reconstructions to help me along. Here is by far the most accurate Utahraptor skeletal. :)
