Tracy unearthed this ink and martin dye sketch from 1990. It was based on something I saw when I was still living in Detroit, mainly a lone tulip growing in an otherwise barren vacant lot. This scan is a little larger than the original.

hey did you know there is a guy that bought a whole neighbourhood in Detroit and restored the buildings the Pickers went to see him... said something about Mr Rogers... I felt that was unkind I understood what he was doing... he was building an attraction and had train Tracks running between the buildings..
